140 Entrepreneurs Trained with Online Tax Payment System

Jakarta Tax Service Department is holding training about transaction procedures or online tax payment to 140 entrepreneurs from Indonesian Retail Business Association (APRINDO). The online tax payment is via M-Banking or ATM.

Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department, Agus Bambang Setiowido explains after issuing Gubernatorial Regulation No. 224/2012 on Tax Payment and Reporting of Tax Business Transaction on Hotel, Parking, Entertainment, and Restaurant through online system, the task of Jakarta Provincial Government is made easier in collecting tax.

"Through this regulation, tax collection becomes easier because it can be done online via internet and mobile system. It is also very helpful to the taxpayer," he said, when he gave a speech, Tuesday (11/24).

Basuki Explores Cooperation Online Tax Reporting System

Besides cooperating with Bank BRI in its implementation with Cash Management System (CMS), his department also applies online tax payment for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), restaurant tax, ad tax, and Land and Building Tax (PBB).

He furthered taxpayer can easily pay tax and monitor it effectively. While advantage for Jakarta government, the public service can be more efficient by using technology and banking system.

"Our purpose is to simplify collecting data of tax, recording Local Income Tax (SPTPD) and inputting documents quickly," he disclosed.
